 20 years and counting...

AMT was founded in Largo, FL May 8, 1988 by Theresa Drake, who has owned and operated the company to this day. Theresa is a member of the Osteopathic Medical Society and FEMA, and works closely with the Department of Health and OSHA in drafting laws for biomedical.

Our services extend to hospitals, crime scenes, health organizations, clinics, labs, funeral homes, home health users and diabetics just to name a few. We have also been involved in some of the largest biomedical cleanups in Tampa Bay.

In short, biomedical waste is defined as anything that can be harmful or infectious to humans or the environment. Without proper disposal of biomedical waste, numerous hazards can affect not only land and water, but can also infect humans and endanger the surrounding wildlife. To ensure proper cleanup and deter unsafe disposal of biomedical waste, the Department of Health and OSHA issue fines of up to $7,500 or more, depending on the violation. Let us help you avoid these unnecessary fines and keep our environment clean.
